During Curaçao International Sports Week, movement was for everyone — young and old. Under the message that movement does not depend on age, gender, or physical condition, FDDK created daily opportunities for sports, movement, and inclusion across Curaçao.
As part of this initiative, FDDK introduced a special activity book for schools and seniors. The book included simple, accessible movement tasks that participants could follow throughout the entire week. Each day encouraged people to stay active in their own way, at their own pace.
To motivate participants even more, FDDK visited schools and senior groups, engaging directly with them and encouraging everyone to “suma move” by completing the activities from the book.
This initiative showed once again that movement is for everyone and that Curaçao continues to build a culture of health, inclusion, and active living — one step at a time.
